A Clear Day

Went for a mad ten kilometre run on the road. I prefer to do it on the deer trails in back, but the grounds were a mess. We'd take the equines out later for a ride. They could leave the stables when they chose, and they had a field to play in before the forest. They never wandered off without a rider here. At my real home, they ran wild most of the time.

They liked to play in the snow. It was fun to watch them sometimes. They could be such characters, running together; almost seeming to play tag or something. They'd paw at the snow, roll in it, shake off, come back in to the heated section of the stables where it connected to the house with the half-door. My mentor said he'd make them some farina whilst me and the mullethead cleaned them up, and groomed them. They'd get it warm with raisons and maple syrup. After all, they were family. We treated them like we'd want to be treated if we were horses. After all, repeating myself; getting down to the basic scheme of existence; wasn't everyone EQUAL!!!!!!!! Regardless of species or conformation?
