Be you wrong or right, how will you act?
Will you do anything to survive?
Will you shed blood of the innocent?
If so, what excuse will you contrive
On that last day when you judge yourself?
Did you choose life to cause misery,
Or to make the world a better place?
Rate you pedestal or pillory?
Did you ask for a chance to rebuild
The thing we know as The Eden Dream,
Or are you here for mayhem's sake;
And serve only the ego's regime?
Be predator, prey, or architect,
For your sake you should now introspect,
Since time now draws out to disconnect
From the chasm of the circumsect
Disunity that failed.
(My way of bitchin' about life, OKAYYYYYYYYYYYYY??????!!!!!!!!! And I did change the first line from that former post that inspired this, but hey! It's my right.)
